Spring Lecture Series: High-Tech Dialogues – COMPLETE SERIES

Thursdays from 5 Feb to 12 Mar at 6.30pm

The Gallery, 70 Cowcross Street, London EC1M 6EJ

The lecture series features some of the leading lights of High-Tech architecture recounting the decisive moments and landmark buildings in their careers. Organised by Geraint Franklin, and set to coincide with the publication of his new C20 Society x Batsford book High-Tech Britain, the talks will take place on six consecutive Thursday evenings.

Each talk will feature a different architect discussing two or three decisive buildings in their career. Following a short presentation, the speaker will be ‘in conversation with’ an a interviewer / host.

Thu 5 Feb – 1. Ian Ritchie (Ritchie Studio), interviewed by Paul Finch

Thu 12 Feb – 2. Eva Jiřičná (Richard Rogers Partnership, AI Design), interviewed by Deyan Sudjic

Thu 19 Feb – 3. Jane Wernick (ARUP), interviewed by Edith Blennerhassett

Thu 26 Feb – 4. Patty Hopkins (Hopkins Architects), interviewer tbc

Thu 5 Mar – 5. Neven Sidor (Grimshaw), interviewed by Hugh Pearman

Thu 12 Mar – 6. Spencer de Grey (Foster + Partners), interviewed by Samira Ahmed
