The lecture series features some of the leading lights of high-tech architecture recounting the decisive moments and landmark buildings in their careers. Organised by Geraint Franklin, and set to coincide with the publication of his new C20 book High-Tech Britain.
Architect Ian Ritchie will discuss three major projects with Paul Finch – Eagle Rock House, Reina Sofia Museum of Modern Art and Leipzig Glass Hall. Following the discussion, Ian will take questions from the audience.
Ian Ritchie leads Ritchie Studio, formerly known as Ian Ritchie Architects. His work includes the Spire in Dublin and Royal Shakespeare Company Courtyard Theatre in Stratford upon Avon. He was also instrumental in the design and engineering of the Louvre Sculpture Courts and Pyramid.
Paul Finch is programme director at World Architecture Festival. He’s a former deputy chair of the Design Council and editorial director of the Architectural Review and Architects’ Journal.
