Two exceptional modern houses stand near each other at Angmering-on-Sea, one by Marcel Breuer, 1937 and the other by Patrick Gwynne, 1970. We are lucky to have access to both of these, and will be adding other attractions from the architectural mixture of the surrounding roads, with many over-the-top examples of Tudorbethan, Pseudish and other 1930s styles, plus an increasing amount of neo-Modernism. The tour will start with a visit to Pallant House Gallery, where there is an exhibition on Grete Marks, the ceramic artist and painter who trained at the Bauhaus.
