Gavin Stamp, A Visit to the Archive

Gavin Stamp, A Visit to the Archive

Wednesday 22nd February 2023, 6-8pm

Paul Mellon Centre, 16 Bedford Square, London WC1B 3JA.

After his much lamented death in December 2017, the archive of Gavin Stamp, long-time Chairman of the Twentieth Century Society, was generously donated by his widow Rosemary Hill to the Paul Mellon Centre for the Study of British Art. Architectural historian Joshua Mardell, was awarded a research grant to study the archive and has curated a selection of items as a ‘Drawing Room Display’ at the Mellon Centre, which is based in Bedford Square, London. https://www.paul-mellon-centre.ac.uk/whats-on/forthcoming/gavin-stamp-archive-display

Join Rosemary, Josh, Alan Powers and our Director Catherine Croft for a private view of the display and an informal discussion about Gavin’s legacy over a glass of wine.

C20 Society Members:  £ 12   Non-Members: £ 18

Includes a glass of wine
