Andrew Murray will look at a history of Brutalism in Australia, from an early engagement with the New Brutalism to the sculptural concrete buildings of the late 1970s which came to define the modern Australian city.

Andrew Murray is a caseworker with C20 Society and recently completed his PhD at the University of Melbourne on the relationship between Britain and Western Australia as it developed in the 1950s. He has previously been the editor of ‘The Architect’ (WA) and ‘The Weather Ring’.
