Alexandra Epps will talk about the unique stained glass stories of people, time and place within the post-war stained glass of the historic churches of the City of London.
Following the devastation of wartime bombing a remarkable generation of architects, artists and craftsmen emerged to recreate the churches of the City in the spirit of Wren. Discover unique stained glass stories of people, time and place within the visual language of stained glass artists working during the post-war period.
Alexandra Epps is a City of London Guide, an accredited Lecturer for The Arts Society and official Guide at Tate. Her background is in design having practised as a graphic designer running her own design consultancy for many years. www.artcity.co.uk
