Space House: Guided Tour – THIS EVENT IS FULLY BOOKED

Thursday 10 July 2025

Start time: 5.50pm for 6pm start

Finish time: 7pm

Place: Space House, 1 Kemble Street, WC2B 4AN

Join us for the tour of Space House led by the architect of its spectacular renovation Tim Gledstone (Squire & Partners) and Tyler Goodwin (Seaforth Land) who commissioned it.

Historic England called it ‘one of the most important redevelopment projects of our time’ while C20 described it  as ‘coolest new office development of 2024’. To put it simply, Space House is a remarkable achievement and the best way to experience it is with a tour lead by those responsible for its success – Tyler and Tim.

Space House is the largest listed building in the UK to achieve a BREEAM ‘outstanding’ rating for its environmental credentials. In all, 90 per cent of the original structure has been restored and retained, saving around 10,000 tonnes of carbon emissions. The tour will explain the strategies needed to achieve such a feat.

The Grade-II Brutalist landmark was originally designed by George Marsh and Richard Seifert; it opened its doors for the first time in 1968.
