A walk through Bath following one of Peter Smithson’s ‘Walks within the Walls’, published in his 1971 book. This truncated version of ‘Walk 4’ will include Green Park and Queen Square, following Peter Smithson ‘in bumbling about the pavements of Regency Bath’ as his son Simon Smithson describes.
The subsequent tour of Alison and Peter Smithson’s Bath University buildings – set within the RMJM campus masterplan (1965 onwards) – will allow comparison of points of interest from the morning walk with their built work.
