PoMo on Pedals

John Outram's pumping station in the Docklands, London

A tour of Docklands by bicycle to celebrate the Postmodernism exhibition at the Soane museum, led by Elain Harwood.

The Pomo Peloton will depart No.1 Poultry next to Bank Station at 10am and cycle over London Bridge, through Rotherhithe and the Surrey Docks to Greenwich, then descend through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel to the Isle of Dogs. We will return along the Thames Path, concluding at St Katherine’s Docks at around 14.15.

Participants must provide their own bikes (the area is not all covered by Boris Bikes, and note that the lifts serving the Greenwich Foot Tunnel can be unreliable). The route is mainly on quiet roads and cycle tracks, but participants must undertake the tour at their own risk and wearing a cycle helmet is advisable.

Meet 10.00am at No.1 Poultry next to Bank Station
