Ian McInnes will lead a walk in the area between Baker Street and Edgware Road, transformed in the 1920s and 30 with large apartment blocks, and in the the 50s and 60s with a mix of apartments, hotels and headquarters offices.Amongst others, architects will include Milton Cashmore of Messrs Joseph, W E Masters, T P Bennett, Reginald Toms, Cecil Elsom, Trehearn Norman Preston & Partners and Michael Rosenaur.

 

Meet: 2.30pm, on the corner of Portman Square and Wigmore Street outside the Natwest Bank.

Finish: Approx 5.00pm at Marble Arch Underground
