Alan Powers will lead a walk, starting with a ride on the 170 bus to Beaufort Street, to start with a visit to the Chapel at Allen Hall by Hector Corfiato, and go on by Old Church Street (Inner Court by Joseph Rykwert, a public inquiry case in 2007), the exteriors of houses by Gropius, Mendelsohn and Oliver Hill, and the 1913 house for Augustus John by Robert Van't Hoff in Mallord Street, then via the unfinished former Oratory Schools in Stewart Grove by Christian Barman, c.1928, to the Michelin Building and finish there, handy for South Kensington tube.
