Remembering Gavin Stamp - Saturday 14th September 2019

To mark the Society's 40th anniversary there will be a one day event at the University of Westminster to remember and reflect on the many facets of Gavin Stamp's personal contribution to architectural history and The Twentieth Century Society.Speakers include Jonathan Meades, Simon Jenkins, A N Wilson, Rowan Moore, Ken Powell, Peter Howell, Michael Hall, Alan Powers, Elain Harwood and Nicholas Long. This promises to be a fascinating day as we consider how Gavin's legacy can be taken forward.

Alan Powers will lead a walking tour in the City of London on Sunday 15th September which will look at architecture that Gavin Stamp championed, and perhaps also buildings that he commented upon less favourably.  Bookings for this Sunday event will open soon.
