Online: C20 Walks and Tours of 2023

Presented by John East

Thursday 18 January 2024 at 6.30 pm

As in previous years the society’s unofficial photographer, John East, will give a photographic romp through the highlights of the walks, tours and foreign trip organised by the Society in 2023.

Highlights in 2023 included trips to many parts of the UK: Edinburgh, Swansea and North Wales. We also toured Surrey;  Poole & Bournemouth; Suffolk, for Raymond Erith and Suffolk churches; Sheffield and Reading.  In London, south of the river, there were walks around Kennington, Vauxhall and the Elephant; and Oxford Street, Liverpool Street, South Kensington and Clerkenwell to the north.   Finally, our overseas trip was to Berlin and Dessau, with all its Bauhaus delights.

John East has been a member of the Society since the 1980s and has led many events and walks over the last 30 years.  He is the Society’s unofficial photographer.
