Speaker: Dr Alistair Fair
Dr Alistair Fair is a lecturer in architectural history at Edinburgh University, specialising in the twentieth century. He has written two books on post-war theatres, Modern Playhouses and Play On: Contemporary Theatre in Britain (2019) and co-authored one on hospitals, which gave him an insight into servicing and planning large buildings. He has turned this interest into the servicing of office buildings – many of which are really like small towns – for the forthcoming C20 Society journal. He is currently writing about Peter Moro for our series Twentieth Century Architects.
