With the publication of Elain Harwood’s much-awaited book Art Deco Britain, we’re delighted to announce that Elain is repeating her keynote talk on the subject via Zoom. Covering many aspects of the book – the arrival of the glamorous style into the Britain in the late 1920s and its use in cinema, hotel, theatre and factory design – Elain is sure to give an rich summary of the style, its enduring fascination to new generations, and the role of the C20 Society in helping to secure the future of many Art Deco buildings.

We’ll send you a Zoom link by email after you book, which will enable you to “join” the event, and we’ll be using the Q&A function to take questions.
