New Listing, New House: John Outram in Conversation

Thursday 10th September 2020, 18.15 for an 18.30 start

Speakers: John Outram in conversation with Geraint Franklin, introduced by Margherita Manca

Join John in conversation with architectural historian Geraint Franklin, who is currently completing the first book length study of John Outram Associates, to be published in C20’s ‘20th Century Architect’ series. They will talk beyond the New House about John’s career and landmark buildings like the Cambridge Judge Business School and the Isle of Dogs pumping station. Questions can be submitted in advance by via social media so do look out for our posts about the event in the coming days. The event will be introduced by Margherita Manca, curator and researcher of twentieth century architecture and design and Communcations officer of C20.

The event is free but we encourage donations towards the upcoming C20 Society and Historic England book about John Outram Architects here. We'll also be sending a limited edition set of John Outram Architecture postcards to those who donate £10 or more. Please quote 'Outram' in the 'Reason for donation' box on our website.

We’ll send you a Zoom link by email after you book, which will enable you to “join” the event, and we’ll be using the Q&A function to take questions at the end. If you’ve not used Zoom before, clicking on the Zoom link will take you through the set-up process, hopefully simply and smoothly! You should receive an automated link within an hour of booking so please check your spam/junk emails if you haven't received this. Any further problems please contact
