New City Architecture 4 Walk

Saturday 11th September 2021

A socially distanced walk led by Alec Forshaw, which will look at some of the latest and ongoing developments in the western part of the City, including London Wall, Bartholomew Square, Farringdon Crossrail Station, Goldman Sachs new HQ and Fleet Street. We hope to visit the City of London model at The City Centre in Basinghall Street, subject to any restrictions at the time.

Alec Forshaw is a former conservation and design officer with the London borough of Islington. He is author of  'New City: Contemporary Architecture in the City of London', Merrell, 2013, and many books about London.

Participants are requested to socially distance and wear a face covering during the walk

 

Meet time/place: 11 am Guildhall Yard

Finish time/place:  1 pm St Paul’s Underground Station

Members:  £18. Non-Members: £23.
