C20 Walks and Tours of 2021

Thursday 20 January 2022 at 8 pm  Presented by John East

As in previous years the society’s unofficial photographer, John East, will give a photographic romp through the highlights of over twenty walks and tours organised by the society across the country in 2021.

After a year when physical events had to be put on hold because of the pandemic, the society got going again in the spring this year with a full programme of over 20 walks and tours organised nationally and by regional groups.

This year’s highlights include inter-war churches in Chester and North Wales, art deco ventilation towers in Birkenhead, magical lost gardens in South Devon, (arguably) the best post war stairs in Britain, murals and sculpture in Coventry, Brutalist towers, post-modern houses, and some of the best architecture of all styles of the twentieth century.

Members:  £4. Non-Members: £6.

We will send you a Zoom link by email after you book, which will enable you to “join” the event, and we’ll be using the Q&A function to take questions at the end. If you’ve not used Zoom before, clicking on the Zoom link will take you through the set-up process, hopefully simply and smoothly! You should receive an automated link within an hour of booking so please check your spam/junk emails if you haven't received this. Any further problems please contact coordinator@c20society.org.uk.
