C20 2022 AGM (MEETING ONLY) for C20 Members ONLY

Start: Saturday 11th June 10.30am for 11am start. Belgrade Theatre, Screen Room, Coventry.

Finish: Saturday 11th June 12.30pm Belgrade Theatre, Screen Room, Coventry. With option to attend post AGM TOUR and drinks (to be booked separately via the C20 website) and evening concert (to be booked through the Coventry Cathedral website).

Agenda for the morning

·         10:30am – Welcoming members with refreshments upon arrival in the Belgrade Theatre Bar / Café

·         11:00am – Start of AGM, adjourn to the Screen Room

·         12:30pm – Scheduled finish of AGM

·         12:30pm – 1:30pm Lunch – At members discretion, with the Belgrade and the Telegraph (next door) as suggested locations.

AGM AGENDA (to include)

1.    Receipt of the Accounts for the year ending 31 December 2021

2.    Ordinary Resolutions:

2.1.  to re-appoint Argent & Co as auditors;

2.2.  that the Rules of the Society made under Article 50 of the Articles of Association be repealed;

2.3.  that the Directors be authorised to set subscription rates and categories from time to time at their discretion, acting in the best interests of the Society and having due regard to the rates and categories set by other comparable organisations, to include, without limitation, targeted and strategic promotions with the aim of broadening the membership and accessibility of the Society;

2.4.  to increase member subscription income by phasing out the discount for over-65s, both individual and household (ie two at the same address), to strengthen the financial resilience of the Society and support its mission to save and protect outstanding architecture, to take effect from 1 September 2022;

2.5.  to elect or re-elect Directors, as recommended by the Directors under Article 27.
